editI reviewed the article and added a few citations that should be of interest to many readers. Since I believe the article to be correct (albeit sketchy about many interesting details that I hope to supply in the future), I removed the "needs review" caption above the article.Eweinber (talk) 20:53, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
Let me suggest that this article be merged with Boolean_network. Also, if someone's working on this, perhaps more general information would be helpful. As it stands the article is pretty heavy on optimization, which is only one aspect of RBN research. --24.22.62.222 (talk) 21:54, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
If my latest revision made the article "pretty heavy on optimization", that's because that's the part of research on this model that I know about. I was one of the early workers on this model (Being the "Weinberger" of Kauffman and Weinberger), but I have not kept up with things NK since about 1991. I therefore would be interested to read about aspects of the model not involving optimization. That said, the work on the model that I do know about (and reported in Weinberger, 1991) is distinct from random boolean networks (RBN's). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eweinber (talk • contribs) 01:11, 6 March 2012 (UTC)
