Network on Chip (NoC) is a new idea for designing such future SoCs. In the NoC theory a router-based network is  used for packet switched on-chip communication among cores.

A typical NoC architecture will provide a better communication for interconnecting cores.

Why are there two entries for Network Operations Centre? Similarly, why does the second one have a long description, surely this belongs in the article itself? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.104.21.81 (talk) 12:26, 2 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

NOC is a term for "No Overall Control" in councils in the UK, and possibly elsewhere. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.205.127.136 (talk) 20:25, 5 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
