Matches 7-10

edit

@MPJ-DK: - matches 7-10 will be taped in New York, but will not air on Saturday as part of the live special. They will air on Wednesday on a "regular" episode of NXT. See the paragraph in the source saying Carmella vs. Alexa Bliss was hyped for next week, and Graves noted that the show will also be emanating from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Plus earlier in the article, Bull Dempsey's return is slated also for Wednesday. starship.paint ~ KO 12:37, 21 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

  • thank you for the info and source. Now the article can reflect that. Although i am not sure how to totally present the table, it is the card for the show in Brooklyn, and they are not dark matches orpreshow matches. Hmmmmm once the results are in probably present them in two seperate tables. One live, one taped?  MPJ-US  12:57, 21 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Poster

edit

The black & white poster of Finn Balor that was up is not an official poster that WWE has produced. I was at the TakeOver show and the poster they were selling at the event is similar to the 2 pictures that have popped up online showcasing all the matches on a b&w oldschool wrestling style poster. The one that was sold at the event have all the matches showcased on one picture instead of 2. I have the poster, but my scanner is shot. If I can find the poster online, I will post it. Also, keep an eye on WWEShop.com as they usually sell all event posters. OldSkool01 (talk) 15:41, 27 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Bayley - rare long term storyline needs reflecting

edit

So, I've watched developmental NXT since the beginning, and I'm disappointed at how the article has failed to provide a comprehensive write-up of the background storyline to the women's match, which was the first main event of the night, as stated in the broadcast.

Bayley's quest to win the NXT Women's Championship was a magnificent long term storyline, comparable to Sami Zayn's quest to win the NXT Championship and Daniel Bryan at WM30 (although WWE didn't plan that).

Bayley's storyline goes back at least one year to the August 14, 2014, episode of NXT, when she became #1 contender for the first time by beating a certain Sasha Banks. Since then she had three unsuccessful title matches. The argument could be made that Bayley's journey started back in June 2013, when she was involved in the tournament to crown the inaugural NXT Women's Champion. Since then, she was betrayed by Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Emma, all of whom she beat shortly before Brooklyn.

Now, I could write this up - I hope I've given Bryan an adequate background storyline summary for WM30 from SummerSlam. Unfortunately, I'm extremely busy in real life. Check my recent contributions. MPJ-DK - are you willing to do it up soon? If you leave it to me, it'll take time, yeah. starship.paint ~ KO 11:12, 28 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

  • Then fix it? Nah just kidding Starship.paint. I am still looking to work on this article, especially reception and aftermath as time passes. Looking at the storyline section there is a lot of relevant info I can pull in for that match to try to put the actual match in perspective. It may not be today or tomorrow but I should be able to work on it in the next few days. MPJ-US  11:20, 28 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
  • Thank you MPJ-DK for your enthusiasm. Perhaps I'll come in (for that storyline) after you've done the next round of additions for it. To be frank, this match overshadowed the Vaudes' title win, which they've been gunning for for some time (lost in the finals for #1 contender-ship on 4 September 2014 episode, became #1 contenders on 30 October 2014 episode), also because I think nobody expected Vaudes to win. starship.paint ~ KO 13:19, 28 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
  • @MPJ-DK: - were you the one who added Bayley reluctantly attacked Charlotte as well as a way to get another title match? Was it copied from somewhere else from Wikipedia? Because it was inaccurate if you read the wrestleview source. I think my change better reflects the source. Don't trust Wikipedia even if something is cited, I found factual errors in Sasha Banks and Charlotte's articles regarding their time in NXT. starship.paint ~ KO 07:29, 31 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Dark Match

edit

Is there any evidence that the Cena/Balor vs Rollins/Owens dark match actually happened? I stayed a good 10 minutes after the main event ended that night and there were no signs or announcements of another match. I never recall reading about it either. I have deleted it for now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.196.71.229 (talk) 12:34, 30 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Event/Results Inconsitency

edit

Under the 'events' header it reads as though Bayley won the match but under 'results' states that Sasha Banks won. I am unaware of the actual result so cannot change it myself, could someone please edit this with the correct information? 31.93.100.172 (talk) 07:22, 7 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
