- It appears, from a Google search, that this drum is cylindrical like the Arabic tabl baladi or Turkish davul. Thus, its name is related to the Arabic kettledrums, but isn't the same kind of drum. Badagnani (talk) 19:40, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

editWhy is the article called "Nagara" if it was used by the Armenians then Georgians? This was even before the Azerbaijanis even existed. The article should be called "Dhol" or "Doli" at least.
