Birthdate

There was no source for el-Rihani being born on January 21, 1889. IMDb says he was born in February 1889, but the State Information Service gives his birthdate as 1890. Since the latter is the more reliable source, I have changed the article accordingly. To make matters worse, Google put up a doodle celebrating el-Rihani's 127th birthdate today - I would assume they took the date from us. This may need watching. I can't read Arabic; how reliable are those sources compared to the SIS? In particular, are we sure they didn't just take the birthdate from Wikipedia? Huon (talk) 06:18, 22 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

I am not sure about this. Anyway, I left a message about his birth date in Arabic Wikipedia which also lists it as January 21, 1889. I am willing to revert myself if we can't find a more reliable source. --Meno25 (talk) 08:14, 22 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
