From About.com[1] and my own family (grandparents are immigrants who came over in 1956), Nagy means "big" or "large", not "great". I don't have any other more reliable sources, though, and the page currently doesn't cite any source for its claim of the surname's meaning. --Alex (talk) 03:40, 30 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
