Navy Commander of the Iranian Army, Admiral Sajjad Kouchaki: Nahang 1 is the result of the labor of the navy's scientists, scholars, researchers, and experts. It took a long time, but fortunately, we've managed to design this submarine

For gods sakes ... change that ............

Displacement

Nahang 1 is 500 tons as mentioned in an interview with an admiral (I dont remember who!) but when I found it I will put its link here. Also as we can see on the picture this submarine can not be 75 or 100 tons when compare with Ghadir, Nahang 1 must be heavier than Ghadir.--VatooVatoo 15:45, 29 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

well...thats maybe true...but i was just saying that some time back iran showed footage of a small submarin that looks identical to Nahang 1 and even in the article's picture you can see that it must be fairly small in comparison to the man on top of it...i could be wrong...but also one should take any countries media with a little suspicion... i have found the picture..here http://www.iribnews.ir/Full_en.asp?news_id=208959&n=33 clearly this is a very small submarine now look at this submarine...http://www.afsouth.nato.int/images/ge206a.jpg the german type 206 which does have have a displacement of 500tons...see how small the men onboard look compared to the pic of the Nahang? Also no where in that video does it even mention the "Nahang-1" submarine....yes it does say they are building subs of up to 500 tons...but he doesnt mention their names...also one could easily question irans military...they also claim to have made a submarine launched missile..yet the video is actually one of a chinese navy missile being tested..Eagle07 22:56, 30 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ok, maybe you are right. From that video, he said Iran built 120-500 tons submarine. Iran officially said that Ghadir is 120 tons, hence I think Nahang 1, another Iran built submarine, is 500 tons.--VatooVatoo 06:46, 1 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

So with that i think we should just leave it at "unknown" for right now until we find stronger evidence towards its displacement. Eagle07 16:26, 1 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

the diferes com from the fact that the nagang is a 350 to 500 tons submarin (teh diferens coms form the maximun-minimun) displacement an the 206 is a 500 to 700-800(bariations tro models) tons submarine —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.250.127.178 (talk) 02:07, 4 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.
