Off-topic
editThis article is seriously off-topic. While there's some valid info here, this newly created article as a whole is not much more than an unstructured collection of nahua-related topics, some of it redundant with info already to be found on existing articles. Afraid it does not really hang together as an article at all, and despite its title contains practically no information specific to Nahuas of La Huasteca region. It would require a temendous amount of rework to bring it up to focus on some defined encyclopaedic subject, but even then I think it would be signficantly redundant and not therefore worthwhile, given that existing articles already cover points discussed here.
From the edit history I am presuming this was created (in good faith) as part of some joint school or uni project; it hasn't been updated for a couple of days now so not sure if more work is intended. I've attached a WP:PROD deletion nomination to it, this will give at least another five days for someone to update or contest before it is considered for deletion, in case this is still a work in progress. Even so, I doubt this can be turned in to an encyclopaedic entry with a defined and non-redundant scope; but happy to discuss if there are contrary views.
Possibly some of the info could be moved to articles on specific topics where it's not already mentioned. If the original contributors are still around, please note you'd be welcome to contribute and expand the existing articles, such as Nahua, Aztec, Aztec religion, etc etc. However, I really can't see at the moment that this article serves a useful and independent purpose in the scheme of things here. --cjllw ʘ TALK 00:02, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
