A book was written by one survivor of the first J1N1C KAI kill of two b-17's. 43rd Bomb Group gunner M/Sgt Gordon Manuel's book "70,000 to one" documents his survival story on Rabaul. http://www.tomfolio.com/bookdetailsgg.asp?b=19164&m=441
