Restoring article from redirection

edit

The revisions I made here which were reverted by Onel5969 addressed the lack of WP:SIGCOV in the previous incarnation of this article with mentions in two books, The Times as well as other media. Given the lack of participation in the AfD, I believe a discussion should be had on restoring this article. Richiepip (talk) 17:20, 12 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

None of that constitutes significant coverage of this person as a person. Giving out money does not buy notability, and you don't inherit it because an ancestor, offspring or ex-spouse of yours is/was notable. --Orange Mike | Talk 19:20, 12 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
Notability is not inherited. There is really no in-depth coverage of this individual to meet WP:GNG. Onel5969 TT me 20:40, 12 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
The book Grand Dukes and Diamonds: The Wernhers of Luton Hoo by established author Raleigh Trevelyan makes numerous, non-trivial mentions of her, as reflected in the sourcing. The Times article states the Grosvenor family. I agree "giving out money does not buy notability" but in the case of the Duchess of Westminster, her charitable endeavors have been covered in sources independent of her, irrespective of her illustrious lineage. A few additional sources I have found about the Duchess's wine production in Portofino, which could be added to the restored article [3] [4] [5] Richiepip (talk) 21:50, 14 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
