The 5 Homer Day
editBorn in St. Louis, Colbert was in attendance at the doublehader in which Stan Musial hit five homers in 1954, and eighteen years later, he duplicated the feat. (It's too bad that some kid from his crowd didn't do the same in 1990!)WHPratt (talk) 13:41, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Good to see that someone took the trouble to add this to the article. WHPratt (talk) 13:17, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
Lead
editIn my edit summary, it should have said that material was moved by another editor because of MOS:LEADREL and the lead should generally not include material that is not in the body. His minor league coaching career is not part of his core notability, so it shouldn't have as much detail per MOS:LEADREL. It is in the body. —Bagumba (talk) 03:55, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
