Original Name
editThe name now is "Nathan's Famous." What was the original name of his business in 1916? Did he use the term "hot dog" in the business name in 1916? Or did he have the chutzpah to call himself "famous" right from day one?
In stores...
editThere should be a mention about how they market and or license their name to a brand of franks that are sold in supermarkets now. youngamerican (talk) 01:47, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
Adding Images
editI'd like to add my image at http://static.flickr.com/60/183029330_f78bbe5699.jpg?v=0, but I have no idea as to how to do this.talk) 5 July 2006
American Eats
editAmerican Eats: History on a Bun provides some good information that could be added to the history section.
hotdog contest
editChestnut's new record of 66 hotdogs should be added.
Which meat?
editAre their hot dogs made of pork or beef? Badagnani (talk) 05:38, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

Supermarket sales
editAlthough the restaurant business was where Nathan's began, a larger part of its business these days is probably from sales of packaged hotdogs in supermarkets. Would be nice to see something about this here. --Haruo (talk) 19:52, 4 July 2011 (UTC) They are produced by Specialty Foods GroupBarnaby the Scrivener (talk) 20:05, 19 April 2012 (UTC)
Frogs legs are available in some locations
editSome of the Nathan locations serve frog's legs. It would be nice to see something on this and when it started.RichardBond (talk) 18:04, 6 November 2015 (UTC)
Assessment
editThis article does not deserve a B-rating. It needs a lot of work, and there are tons of sources to work with. I am downgrading to C-class in the hopes that people will chip in and really get this article in tip top shape like it deserves. 191.101.244.1 (talk) 09:31, 22 September 2016 (UTC)

Owner / Subsidy Info
editThe right hand side info-box should show that the company is owned by Smithfield, which is a Chinese company. There are MANY examples of this throughout WP, so I am wondering why it is not done here. People would like to know that Nathan's is now a foreign owned company. 174.171.71.34 (talk) 08:56, 15 May 2023 (UTC)
