Removed the reference to his fight in PRIDE 1 being a work. There was no source cited. Sherdog has his birthday as August 26, 1965 and his weight as 345 lbs - likely what he weighed in at for that fight. / Thorrune 01:54, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

This page lists Jones's height as both 6'10" and as 7', and his weight as both 340 lbs. and 360 lbs. I don't know the correct measurements, but if you do, it'd help to straighten that out.

I got the 6'10" and 340 lbs. figures from Milo, which is a reputable strength training journal. The 7' and 360 lbs. numbers sound like his "wrestling" (in other words, exaggerated) size. Dsreyn 04:49, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

His height and weight do seme to flucutate. But I think the strongman stats should be most realistic. There's a link to this page as he is listed as serving time at Boggo Rd Gaol. Is this the wrong guy? The Gaol closed in 1989 and he was only born 19 years prior, could he have been in there at 17 or is this the wrong person?203.35.135.136 (talk) 22:14, 25 November 2010 (UTC)

They exaggerate stats in strongman, too. About his weight, he says in this interview ( http://www.wrestling-news.com/nm/publish/news_1906.html ) with wwe.com in 2003 that he weighs 295-300lbs.

Oh, and where is 1969 year of birth from? He was born in 1970 as far as I know. Same month and day, though.

Economics Degree

Date of Birth must be incorrect

In this video, recorded on January 2012 and posted February 2012, Nathan tells the interviewer that he's 45-years-old. On google his DOB is listed as 1967, here it's 1969, on Sherdog it's 1965. If he was born on August 21st, this would actually indicate that he was born in 1966. I'll leave it to other people to figure out which one it is, but 1969 is definitely not correct unless he decided to claim to the interview that he's older than he is for no apparent reason. 100.35.112.60 (talk) 17:14, 17 July 2018 (UTC)

Boggo road Jail/Gaol

I remember as a young teen my much older cousin who also spent time at Boggo, told me a story about Nathan Jones how he used to kick his cell door off its hindges and roamed freely within the gaol. My older brother escaped from there also back in the day, I heard it wasn’t too hard to escape back then lol probably one of the many reasons it closed down heard a few stories about it, Nathan’s being the most memorable as his weight lifting belt being the same height as me at the time. "Gaol" is apparently the English English from England spelling. But people there spell it "jail" as well. Still, it's their prison, they can call it what they like. BTW did you know in the USA that "prison" and "jail" refer to two different type of places? Not sure why, but again, they built 'em, so they can name 'em.

Personally I wouldn't have named it after "Boggo Road", not very prestigious, is it? Maybe it's not supposed to be.
