The result of the move request was: Page is staying put, consensus seems to be that national is more appropriate as it refers to the people not the political region. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 08:42, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
It was proposed in this section that National Anthem of the Altai Republic be renamed and moved to Altai Republic Anthem.
The discussion has been closed, and the result will be found in the closer's comment. Links: current log • target log |
National Anthem of the Altai Republic → Altai Republic Anthem – Since Altai Republic is not an independent nation, it should be Regional Anthem. 112.202.3.153 (talk) 21:19, 29 November 2011 (UTC)
Oppose. Neither is Scotland, Brittany and other non-independent nations, yet they have "national anthems". "Nation" does not imply independent state. It implies a people. Walrasiad (talk) 07:25, 30 November 2011 (UTC)
- Oppose. It's not uncommon for "national" to refer to a people and not a political entity, and Russia's republics have a pretty fair degree of autonomy anyhow. Unless "Altai Republic Anthem" is more common, I would keep it as is. Knight of Truth (talk) 00:40, 1 December 2011 (UTC)

Problems with sound
editThe actual audio file of the anthem has a very distinct crackling/popping sound. AndreyKva (talk) 00:30, 12 November 2017 (UTC)
