More recent sources needed

edit

I've added a couple of sources to evidence the international dimension of this day; a very quick Google search turned up very little in the way of reliable sources from outside America more recent than 2013, and one (The Irish Examiner, from this year) looks to have garnered its info from this very article. If anyone can update it with something more contemporary that would be great. ~ Maltrópa loquace 23:42, 11 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

"National" implies a specific country

edit

This article is exclusively about a United States topic, but is written as if the United States were the only country. I propose renaming the article to National Coming Out Day (United States), and/or re-writing the article introduction from a global perspective, giving the appropriate context about which in the nation in question Fibre H. See it's not only celebrated in the USA though?
It started there, but it's been spreading to other countries in the 30 years since creation 82.14.222.80 (talk) 10:17, 11 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Some people are advocate for it to be renamed to International

There's nothing in the current MSM in the UK about it. Seems it's primarily a US thing. Maybe there's some WP:UNDUE here? MidnightBlue (Talk) 16:48, 11 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
