I propose renaming the article to US National Energy Act of 1978. The PURPA reference was deleted since I initiated the article in January 2005. I was hoping that somebody (anybody) would expand the contents .... MGTom (talk) 17:04, 28 June 2012 (UTC) .Reply
I moved the article back to National Energy Act before seeing that you had previously moved it from there. I didn't mean to begin an edit war. I do think this is more appropriate since most US legislation is named by common name without referencing year and country (see Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act). Exceptions are when there are multiple countries with the same law name (see Clean Air Act (United States)) or multiple laws with the same title passed in different years (see Civil Rights Act).
