Necessary section?
editIn January 2012, the NIESR rejected Migration Watch UK's assertion that young Eastern European migrants were responsible for Britain's high unemployment rate, suggesting the real problem was the recession and lack of jobs
This section seems rather unnecessary. It doesn't add any particular information about the NIESR. All it does is put this think tank at odds with another. Doesn't seem necessary. Either this was added as a political point or is filler. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.4.154.50 (talk) 21:16, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
- I agree. It is unneccessary and was probably a political point. I have deleted so hope that is ok. --BrookeHollingshead 13:34, 19 March 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by BrookeHollingshead (talk • contribs)
- It could be a footnote if the article was expanded. As it stand it would probably give to much WP:weight. Jonpatterns (talk) 19:45, 25 April 2017 (UTC)

Either/or
editThe prologue includes these two sentences: (A) "The institute receives no core funding from government." And (B) "Funders include government departments and agencies." One of them must go. -The Gnome (talk) 21:47, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
