edit"Material over 6 months old is freely accessible" - this is not true. Just try yourself http://www.nature.com/nm/index.html . I will therefore delete this sentence. --Nina 12:08, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
- It used to be accessible but I agree it doesn't seem to be there now. Espresso Addict 16:57, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
- Mh, that's interesting. Do you have any idea why they changed their policy? --Nina 21:43, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
Country of publication
editI've included USA as country of publication, as the website contact address is in New York. However, I understood that the parent journal Nature was published in London, so I'm not 100% sure this is correct. If anyone has a definitive answer, please correct me! Updating cover image
editThe journal cover appears to have had a redesign starting December 2019, with subsequent covers being more diagrammatic in nature. I'd prefer to change the image to one that looks a little more like the older designs (I used to subscribe and wouldn't recognise a lot of these as the same journal), so what about July 2020 or December 2020, which would work well at the thumbnail size? Or for a more obviously diagrammatic one, perhaps May 2022? Any opinions? Espresso Addict (talk) 03:03, 3 October 2022 (UTC)
- Without actually looking at them all shrunk, I'd think May 2022 might be the clearest of the three you mention - but almost any would do, except the untypical photographic ones like March 2022. I quite like July and April 2022, personally. PamD 11:57, 3 October 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks, PamD. Not personally fond of July 2022, and especially not April 2022 (special issue). I wonder if the actual content has changed in line with the rather different cover image type; there's a new EiC who might be driving the journal in a new direction. - Thanks for the suggestions! I agree with July 2020 or December 2020! Getting something that works at the thumbnail size is key I think. Whoever does the upload of the new image should, however, not make it too small in my opinion, otherwise Page Previews does not work. SakurabaJun (talk) 00:23, 4 October 2022 (UTC)
- Went with Dec 2020 at 200px width. It might be too high resolution, I resized the thumbnail but can't reduce the image quality on this laptop. Espresso Addict (talk) 00:18, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
