French title
editHi, @Northern Moonlight:, I have a question about the French title for the act that you've added. Are you sure it was "Loi du service naval", and not "Acte du service naval"? My experience with the older federal statutes is that they used "Acte" instead of "Loi" until the 1960s, when the drafting practices changed with the Official Languages Act. "Acte" is a faux-ami, of course, and "Loi" is the more accurate term for a statute, but I'm curious if they used "Loi" way back in 1910. Unfortunately, I don't have access to the French versions of the federal statutes for that period, so can't check it myself. Mr Serjeant Buzfuz (talk) 21:03, 19 January 2024 (UTC)

- Great! Thanks very much for the confirmation. Mr Serjeant Buzfuz (talk) 21:31, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
