The "history" section had been replaced by a less informative "biography" that sounded more like PR / hype, and was far too emotive and POV. It also seemed like the "biography" was the work of a single editor whereas the "history" has been developed / refined by a number of people. So for both of those reasons I reverted to the more detailed and more wikified history text.
