Timing discrepancy
editCan someone doublecheck the Python story? The Cheese Shop sketch first aired in 1972 and the shop was founded in 1979. The story told here is quite different: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheese_Shop_sketch Naniwako (talk) 18:05, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
- According to the Borough Market Cookbook the story is an anecdote told by Randolph Hodgson, so presumably having no cheese to sell to Cleese in 1979 reminded him of the 1972 Python Cheese Shop sketch. TSventon (talk) 21:16, 10 December 2021 (UTC)
