Floating?

edit

Although the article mentions parts of Neft Daşları being constructed on sunken ships, etc. I'm wondering is it primary supported by fixed structures (like pylons) or could it be considered a floating structure? I've just created Category:Floating structures and would like to add this one if it qualifies. -- Chuq (talk) 22:57, 18 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

There's a concrete tenement block there, so it can't be floating. That's much too much weight for the time it was constructed. Only modern oil platforms support such weighty masses. -- 70.51.200.162 (talk) 05:02, 23 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Uh... despite guiness awarding it the oldest oil platform, the Oil Platform article list several other earlier examples that came first? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.121.64.7 (talk) 16:15, 7 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
