Although the article mentions parts of Neft Daşları being constructed on sunken ships, etc. I'm wondering is it primary supported by fixed structures (like pylons) or could it be considered a floating structure? I've just created Category:Floating structures and would like to add this one if it qualifies. -- Chuq(talk)22:57, 18 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
There's a concrete tenement block there, so it can't be floating. That's much too much weight for the time it was constructed. Only modern oil platforms support such weighty masses. -- 70.51.200.162 (talk) 05:02, 23 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Uh... despite guiness awarding it the oldest oil platform, the Oil Platform article list several other earlier examples that came first? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.121.64.7 (talk) 16:15, 7 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
