This article has several biased statements alledging organized crime involvement and calling the subject a jerk. I'll try to rewrite some of the major offenders. (Rigel1 21:54, 29 January 2007 (UTC))Reply

I wouldn't do that if I were you, Rigel.

  • And yet, I just put them back in again. Accusing someone of involvement with organized crime sounds like something that needs some supporting documentation to me. Rigel1 23:28, 30 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

You just don't get it, do you Rigel?

This article is pure trash - it either needs to be completely revised or removed altogether. I added a noncompliant tag. WU03 18:55, 20 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Nestor Aparicio is not the nephew of Luis Aparicio, retired Hall of Fame shortstop. Mr. L. Aparicio through his attorney has stated that there is no kindship and has requested that Mr. N. Aparicio cease and desist from continuing to advance that claim. Confirmation is obtainable from either Mr. Luis Aparicio or his attorney.Richard A. Wood (talk) 15:04, 2 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

There is little biographical information. Some obvious information, available on the Internet, such as education and charitable work is absent. Most of the article relates to a single event in Aparicio's life (FreeTheBirds), but omits context or why this event is significant. Suggest expanding factual material about Aparicio to offset controversial material, or consider the article for deletion. Mtd2006 (talk) 16:27, 4 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
