Disclosure of involvment with the NetSurf project

edit

In the interests of WP:COI and as a primary contributor to this article, I should mention that I have made minor contributions to the NetSurf project, and I'm in regular contact with other NetSurf developers. Hertzsprung (talk) 13:16, 8 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

As a regular fiddler with the article, I should also mention that I contribute to the NetSurf project. Tlsa (talk) 13:24, 8 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

This edit has been queried. My reasoning for making it was to bring this article in line with the convention adopted for other RISC OS software articles. Please note the discussion at WT:COMP. --trevj (talk) 14:02, 16 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Edit now reverted. Sorry for the confusion. --trevj (talk) 19:11, 16 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Historical details in 'Ports' section

edit

Thanks for the identification and correction of my error. Sorry for that - I obviously didn't read the TIB piece very carefully. Also, I'm sure it's not the case that this section must include historical details that came to nothing... the details can be removed again but I just consider it relevant to readers that the RO has been put at risk. Cheers and Merry Christmas. -- Trevj (talk) 08:59, 28 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Windows version is only a test version.

edit

Such an important fact should be added to the article. NetSurf's download page for Windows says: The Windows build is a technology demonstrator and is not ready for general use. 2600:1702:3790:1520:CD64:E4C6:1968:5630 (talk) 21:59, 25 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

History section, version history table

edit

I attempted to make the #History section more concise and organized by adding a table of releases. I'm not very familiar with this project or with the development of web browsers, but it would seem to me that some of the content in #History is not very notable/describes minor changes- perhaps it would suffice to mark minor versions/bugfixes as such in the table, instead of devoting a list item to each one. I'm not sure how to decide which versions are minor, but I noted the changes that seemed significant to me in my first iteration of this table. Jan kala kabinet (talk) 15:03, 4 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
