alice in wonderland

The interior scenes of Jonathan Miller's BBC TV 'Alice in Wonderland' were (according to the latter's Wikipedia entry) filmed here very shortly before the buildings were demolished. By the time the film was shown on Boxing Day 1966, the buildings had gone. The film thus provides an almost unique record of what the interior looked like.
