A table or list would be good
editI'm in the process of researching before installing a home video system. If I discover a list already exists (not linked from this NVR page) I'll remove this post, but ... as a new W-editor I first need to learn how lists & tables are made, and it would be good to discuss somewhere what characteristics should be included in that list. Ideas include: coax/wifi/PoE, #chan, proprietary/hackable, NAS or dedicated NVR, dependent on vendor website for remote viewing, buy outright or ongoing license (e.g. per camera), supported standards... So far I'm finding excellent info, ideas, at vueville.com which appears at first glance to be hosted by a very dedicated and helpful individual reviewer. My paid subscription to consumerreports.org was not much help- as of now they did not yet review ANY PoE systems. Walkingstick3 (talk) 17:36, 26 March 2018 (UTC)
constatus under the "See also" section
editHi, I believe constatus is an appropriate link under the "See also"-section. It has great overlap with motion and zoneminder. I would say; if constatus does not apply, then neither do zoneminder nor motion. Flok 21:18, 7 June 2020 (CET)
- Please read MOS:SEEALSO. The only purpose of the See also section on Wikipedia is listing related Wikipedia articles.—J. M. (talk) 19:27, 7 June 2020 (UTC)
