Name - Nevada vs. Nevada City
editI was trying to research when, exactly, the town changed its name from Nevada to Nevada City, and found this source: https://nevadacityhistory.com/history/
So it seems it's possible that the reason cited here for the town's name change is incorrect, since the name was solidified previous to the incorporation of Nevada as a state. Also, it seems that the town was never officially just called "Nevada". In any case, worth a bit o' research and some cleanup in that section. LegalTech (talk) 19:07, 26 May 2024 (UTC)
