This article needs some work in order for me to consider this as a GA.

1. It is reasonably well written.

   The prose is very messy, for example: You use "meets" many times in the description, try "intersects"; "oute 83 was originally legislated as a part of Route 49 in 1927", what does legislated mean?

2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.

4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.

5. It is stable.

   No edit wars etc.:

6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.

   Pass/Fail:

I have put in a request for a map at Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Roads/Maps task force/Requests and I am still waiting. Dough4872 (talk) 02:25, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

This article should not have been failed due to lack of a map. Articles are passed or failed according to the good article criteria, and in addition, there is nothing the nominator could have done to create a map. –Juliancolton ^{Tropical Cyclone} 20:34, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
