TLO's name
editI noticed in the background section TLO's name is displayed several times, but differently. First should her name be displayed at all? I'm just not sure of this, and it could be perfectly fine. School Cops
editMy school cops are considered the school's employees (i am 90% sure of this). They still have cops' uniforms and guns and stuff. can they search us, our lockers or on cars (while on school grounds)? Scott (talk) 03:43, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
Weird wording?
editChoplick then asked TLO into his private office and asked if she would hand over her purse. After TLO was forced to hand over the purse, he observed a pack of cigarettes.

- Sources conflict on whether or not T. L. O. gave her purse to Choplick voluntarily. Some say the purse was "grabbed", others say T. L. O. "complied", and the vast majority skip over this detail and go right from "Choplick demanded to see her purse" to "inside the purse, Choplick found...". It does not change the merits of the case because T. L. O. complying with the order would not imply consent to be searched because she wasn't informed of her right to withhold consent.
