User NK15068: Please do not keep adding "thenewk.com" to the external links section of this page. The site appears to be a personal blog and does not meet WP:EL. As someone born and raised in NK, I respectfully disagree with your assertion thenewk.com is a personal blog, as the subject of the blog is not a person, it is the borough itself. Text from the first History paragraph now reads:

Avenues ran parallel to the river, while streets were perpendicular. 4th and 5th were the main commercial streets.

Should that second sentence be revised to "4th and 5th Avenues were the main commercial streets."?
