Hi, I intend to review this over the week to come. Please ping me I forget after that time-frame (ish). Eddie891 Talk Work 20:58, 17 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thoughts on prose, will mostly just ce as I see fit:
  • I think it might be worth mentioning sooner in the lede that Banks is Black as that seems a pretty integral part of the story
  •   Done
  • not knowing what to do when a friend from the neighborhood sees him with Liam I'm not clear how this is a difficulty?
  • When was he almost [...] suspended?
  •   Done
  • in tackling serious topics could you add an example (serious topics, such as...
  • No because that would be OR. But I did make clear this is Craft's opinion about himself.
  • what is a mock Newbery Award?
Thoughts on sourcing
  • All sources are reliable for what they're being used for. I've checked the majority of sources for what they support
  • "who even white girls from other countries would identify with" I don't think this is exactly what the source is trying to say (also, a white girl from Iowa does not live in a different country from DC). The idea is that he wanted to create a character with universal appeal, but saying that "even white girls from other countries" kinda makes it seem like Craft was trying to get white girls specifically to identify with the character
  •   Done
  • I'm not seeing that he has two sons in the source-- it seems to just specify "sons", though I may be missing something,
  • Can the PW review substantiate the publication date, given that it was written before the book came out?
Generally nicely done. Please have a glance at my ce and check that all changes are agreeable to you. Eddie891 Talk Work 17:29, 24 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
