Hello, and welcome to The Rambling Man's (tm) review procedure...

• Image:Railrunner logo.gif is missing fair use rationale.
• Avoid single-sentence paragraphs, as in History & Ridership sections.
• Don't wikilink individual years.
• No references for History section (this is very important).
• "The Central New Mexico corridor, which is home to half the state's population, is anchored by Santa Fe (the state capital) and Albuquerque (the largest city and economic hub)." - what does "..anchored.." mean in this context? Why use parentheses (note: I hate parentheses so it maybe a personal problem!) here, they don't improve the prose at all.
• "In fact, there are seven Pueblos along the entire corridor, making the addition of new roadways or the expansion of current capacity unlikely." - is this citable or is it original research? (It came from the original report, now cited.)
• Justification section has zero citations.
• Is Ridership a real word? Not British English, that's for sure, but I'm prepared to be corrected... (Yes, it's American English.)
• Don't place external links in the main body, e.g. "(A current train schedule...", "purchased online".
• Fare information is trivial, not significant.
• Avoid "(e.g.,...).
• Why have notes in the table when there aren't any?
• Avoid over-wikilinking, e.g. Bombardier Transportation in the table.
• Remove Trivia section per the tag.

Lack of citations for the majority of the article and the other WP:MOS issues have made me decide to fail this for the time being. Hello, some further comments following the update from my previous review...

• What's BNSF?
• History section has four short paragraphs, consider flowing into two longer ones for more elegant article appearance.
• Move the first image to under the History heading.
• "accessdate" in templates should be a full ISO date (including the year).
• Four external links a bit over the top - if you're using them explicitly, link them in-line with {{cite web}}.
• Stations, Service, Ticketing, Rolling stock, Connections and Future plans section are totally unreferenced.
• Wikilink full dates where possible per WP:DATE.

What's BNSF?

BNSF Railway is one of the major American railway companies. It is a result of the merger of the Burlington Northern Railway (itself the result of a merger between the Great Northern and Northern Pacific railways and their subsidiaries) and the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway (ATSF or Santa Fe). Biodiesel rather than electric?

Is there any particular reason that motive power is diesel or biodiesel rather than electric, usually the preferred mode of traction for new commuter rail systems? 66.234.220.195 (talk) 21:48, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Probably the capital cost of electrification, plus the trouble of getting the freight hauler (BNSF) to agree to run their trains underneath electrified lines. Just guessing here; those are the usual reasons. A lot of commuter lines in the US are diesel. 24.58.62.91 (talk) 23:37, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

Route map

Help with the termini

If you look at the station pages, you will see the box where it tells you the next station on the line, and what the ultimate destination is at the end of the line. Beforehand the northern terminus was "Sandoval County/US 550" but with the Santa Fe extension that's going to become "Santa Fe Depot". I tried to change this by editing the Template:S-line/NMRX right/Rail Runner, but it doesn't seem to have done anything. Where did I go wrong? PerryPlanet (talk) 19:49, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Rolling stock

The rolling stock section says that there are 9 locomotives, 9 coach cars, and 13 cab cars. Is this correct? It doesn't make sense (at least to me) to have more cab cars that locomotives. It seems like there should be 9 locomotives, 13 coach cars, and 9 cab cars. Can anyone confirm this? -- Imperator3733 (talk) 15:03, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

I've talked to Rail Runner personnel who say that there are only 9 cab cars, but have not found written documentation, although there is documentation that there are 22 total passenger cars. Since the cab car / coach car split in the table is also undocumented I'm changing the table based on this verbal information.63.18.121.25 (talk) 13:12, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

Ridership data incorrect?

Hey folks, the Q2 2023 ridership data in the info box appears to be incorrect. It says 2,500, but the linked data says 1.9 thousand average weekday riders. Am I misinterpreting this?
