All-time record high temperature
editHere is the record event report from NWS San Diego explaining the mistake in reporting the high temperature of 97 degrees on 9/4/2022 as the all-time record high temperature. Further looks at records show that the all-time record high temperature for Newport Beach was actually 107 degrees on 9/26/1963.
