Series 2 Celebrities
editCan we please double-check that the celebrities listed for Series 2 have appeared as such in the episodes being broadcast? A reference/citation confirming these celebrities are appearing in this show in a satirical portrayal would certainly help.
Any celebrity put in will be double-checked, and if there is no evidence the show has made a puppet of them for this series, they will be removed from the list, with the exception of those who are proven to be in the show through references/citations. GUtt01 (talk) 19:40, 14 September 2016 (UTC)
Series 1 Celebrities
editShould the celebrities listed under Series 1 be listed as what role they held at the time, where different from the present? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:C7D:3AE:5500:A1A4:5604:DCFD:7CB5 (talk) 19:21, 17 September 2016 (UTC)
- If they held a role around the time that series was broadcast, which they do not hold now, then referring to them as being "Former 'insert role here'" is suitable. Example of this is David Cameron, who can be referred by today as the former leader of the Conservatives and former Prime Minister of Great Britain. GUtt01 (talk) 20:55, 17 September 2016 (UTC)
Disruptive Editing of Late - September 2016
editThis is to inform any editor who works on this article, that we have had someone being disruptive and trying to vandalise the page. An example of what they tried to do, as can be seen in the revision history tab for the article, was the user changing the show's name to both "Snoozezoids" and "Spitting Image rip-off" in both the Infobox and Lead. Whether you love or hate the show, personal opinions about any article should not be incorporated in the information contained within it, nor should you let such opinions cause you to disrupt the hard work of editors who are generally doing their best to update, amend, or correct information contained on this site.
If you see anyone being disruptive on a page, please revert their changes and give them a warning about their behaviour.Thank you. GUtt01 (talk) 21:04, 17 September 2016 (UTC)
- I'll request for protection. In the meantime I will keep an eye out for any vandals. Class455 (talk) 21:13, 17 September 2016 (UTC)
- This was only from one user, so I hardly think the request will be accepted. If there is more disruptive editing, than I am sure the request will be accepted. GUtt01 (talk) 22:55, 17 September 2016 (UTC)
- There was a bit from IP's. Class455 (talk) 23:04, 17 September 2016 (UTC)

Character list
editIs lengthy list of every character being parodied necessary? Am keen to remove it. Prose of Character section seems more ideal (speaking on Miliband, Farage, Trump) template to work with. Mayhaps can incorporate examples of classes of characters (politicians, celebrities, athletes etc...) instead of exhaustive list. -- dsprc [talk] 19:31, 21 September 2016 (UTC)
- I believe the list is fine, because it details which celebrities are used for the show's satirical comedy. It's best to debate this with others if there is an issue. GUtt01 (talk) 14:09, 25 September 2016 (UTC)
- I'd just cut it before I saw this talk page. I don't think it's that helpful to the reader - there's no indication whether these are recurring puppets or minor single-sketch appearances, and we can't tell if it's a complete (or even accurate) list because there's no secondary source for any of it. Better to expand the prose Newzoids#Characters section to write about any particularly significant puppets. --McGeddon (talk) 14:38, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
Donald Trump
editI wonder if the statement "while American President, Donald Trump’s hair is represented as a cat on his head" needs reworded. Trump was not President, nor even President elect, when Newzoids was airing (the last episode was about a month before the 2016 United States presidential election) so perhaps adding the word "future" before "American President" would avoid confusion? Dunarc (talk) 22:39, 16 August 2022 (UTC)
- I have made this change for now as I think it is more accurate, but am happy to discuss further if anyone has any objections. Dunarc (talk) 22:53, 24 August 2022 (UTC)
