- @Titus Gold, probably not in this article, I added a section to Elections in Wales. DankJae 23:34, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
Electoral system change
editIn the polling section it says that the constituency component is defunct and puts the regional part as the main one. This is misleading, there will only be a constituency part, what has actually changed is that there will no longer be a FPTP component. I think this should be changed to be more accurate, if someone can think of an eloquent way of wording it. LandmarkFilly54 (talk) 11:42, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
- Well the pairings of constituencies could be considered as "regions of two constituencies". Depends how you look at it. In my opinion, both the "regional" and "constituency polls" are now redundant, for a new single paired-constituency polls. Ofc, what is clear is that the constituencies used for the constituency poll are no longer used nor is FPTP, whereas regional at least covers multiple constituencies and uses list, so I guess how that can be seen as more justified. But tbh both are defunct in my opinion. DankJae 16:11, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
- I've split the new polls from the older polls that use the older system, as the pollsters themselves don't compare pre-bill and post-bill polls, so neither should we. DankJae 20:51, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
