I've removed this line from the text:
- The name "Nyree" can also come from ancient Greek mythology, the Nereids (pronounced /ˈnɪəri.ɪdz/, NEER-ee-idz; Ancient Greek: Νηρηΐδες) are "sea nymphs", the fifty daughters of Nereus and Doris.
I've been unable to find any source which confirms this. The name Nereida comes from Greek mythology, with the etymology shown above, and in several dictionaries of girls' names this entry is immediately before that for Ngaire. I think it likely that this definition has somehow been inadvertently read from the wrong line of one of these dictionaries. Grutness...wha? 14:05, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
