How is this guy a historian? He has no degrees in history, does not conduct historical research, and appears only to be a military consultant for a media company — not a historical one. Are there any reliable sources that regard him as a historian? Dawkin Verbier (talk) 14:59, 12 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Given that both for his roles with Wargaming.net, and also for his own personal reference for his own book, videos, seminars/public-speaking events, and his continuing educational studies (as part of becoming a Lt.Col. he had to earn a Masters Degree, to which he apparently opted to study WWII military history), Nicholas has apparently spent innumerable hours in the vaults and backrooms of various civilian and military museums all around the world, some/most of which facilities are not readily accessible to just anybody off the street it should be noted, in order to wade through literally countless boxes and shelves and drawers full of important historical papers and documentation; thus it's fairly safe to say that he has indeed conducted a great deal of historical research into armoured vehicles, weapons, battles, and other historical military-related events and people over the years and so does kinda qualify as an historian on those topics. 86.161.140.217 (talk) 10:46, 7 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
