Bio edit
editI have been contacted with the message that Nick Abadzis is concerned about the accuracy/tone of some of the content of the bio. I had some concerns myself about parts of it but hadn't had time to dig into it properly and it appears all this stems from one edit by an anonymous IP [1], so I have removed the lot [2] and will add some of it back in and others can too if they like - as long as it abides by WP:NPOV and WP:RS (and spelling - all of which that addition was lacking). Before that I reverted another edit [3] because it was a one-shot account, that indiscriminately removed a large block of text with no explanation and for no clear reason - if they were trying to fix the problems I'm working to address then it was badly handled and seemed to throw the baby out with the bath water - the core of the information seems solid it was just badly phrased and went beyond what seems to be provable from the sources available.
Anyway this is just an explanation for the edits in case anyone was wondering. (Emperor (talk) 18:57, 11 March 2008 (UTC))
- OK just to say I added back in his American work without with unsourced commentary. I have also tidied up the bibliography and made it consistent. It might need resolving by I removed Edmund Bagwell nee Perryman as Edmund Bagwell and Edmund Perryman appear to be two different people and it is unclear how "nee" works in this context. If they are the same person and he changed his name after getting married (or some such) then someone should let Wake know to update his database but as it stands there seems to be no evidence for this that I can find.
