Remove COI template

edit

Please can an editor remove the COI template by checking for non-promotional neutrality and that the article fairly represents the sources cited. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jorbert30 (talkcontribs) 17:21, June 10, 2024 (UTC)

Not done yet. Whether it's neutral isn't for you to judge. There is still an overall promotional quality to the article, and someone is going to have to go through it carefully, checking and editing. This takes time. ~Anachronist (talk) 16:57, 14 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Appreciate if this can be fixed too. What is the specific issue that needs to be checked and edited, as per guidelines at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:COI
Thanks for any help. Jorbert30 (talk) 08:31, 17 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Notability

edit

I am having a hard time seeing that Wikipedia's notability requirements are met. The sources seem to be mostly from the venues that have exhibited Jordan's work, so they would be considered primary sources and not independent of the subject; naturally they would promote their own exhibitions. All these sources accomplish is verifying existence, not establishing notability. Therefore, I have added a notability tag onto this article too.

@Jorbert30: Please look at the criteria in Wikipedia:Golden Rule and explain which three sources cited in the article meet all of those criteria. ~Anachronist (talk) 16:57, 14 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, thanks for your input. Citations 1, 2 and 8 are examples of independent sources, not from venues that exhibited subject's work. Hope this clarifies notability. Jorbert30 (talk) 07:56, 17 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
