Does anyone else think this page is way too full of bold type? Vaoverland 04:47, Dec 27, 2004 (UTC)

I do. I just removed most of it. JYolkowski 21:53, 11 Feb 2005 (UTC)

New York, Chicago and St. Louis RailroadNickel Plate Road – As with the recent move of the Milwaukee Road to that title, the article should use the much more common name, which was not just a popular nickname, but the actual officially used branding of the company, as seen on its logo, and, in abbreviated form, as its reporting mark. This is supported by an ngram search, though admittedly it is difficult to be sure of the results because of the lengthy formal name consisting of common city names. Although that itself speaks to a reason to move, as conciseness is preferred in article titles. oknazevad (talk) 23:06, 13 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Museum

There is a Nickel Plate Railroad Museum in Bellevue, Ohio. I am not sure how closely related it and the railroad are, but does anyone else think it should be mentioned? Empire of Ohio (talk) 23:23, 28 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

I'm comparing the original version of this article (Special:Diff/7074008) by H136eV (talk · contribs) and it follows John Rehor's 1965 history rather closely. Mackensen (talk) 14:39, 28 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
