Birthplace
editThe article says she was born in NYC, as do many other sites. However her official site nickyhilton.com (About Nicky section) says she was born in LA.
Disinherited
editAccording to the above article, she and all the other Hilton grandchildren have just been disinherited. Barron Hilten disinherited all eleven of his grandchildren. I feel for Nicky, but not Paris, but that's just my opinion. TheKatK
- They were not entirely disinherited, but left a very small portion (still worth millions) of his billion dollar estate. They also remain heirs to their parent's estates. -- Willthacheerleader18 (talk) 02:01, 26 July 2015 (UTC)
Paris
editLets face it. Nicky is only slighty known because of her fabulous sister, the talented Paris Hilton. If Paris did not exist, this article would not either. Be honest. This person is known only because of her remarkable sister. Wallie 16:02, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
- Please cite a reliable source or stop introducing POV statements. --Yamla 16:06, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
- Moi? POV? I think I take a world view. Isn't that nice? Wallie 19:41, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
- That statement would have been okay if you hadn't referred to Paris as 'fabulous', 'talented' and 'remarkable'. It would have been okay if you'd just said 'a large majority of the American population agree that Nicky is just dragged into the spotlight by her considerably more famous, outgoing older sister Paris' but you had to make it biased by commenting on what a Paris fanboy you are! Sorry, but you keep referring to her and it gets annoying for non-Paris Fans. 80.43.9.157 12:33, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
- I suggest that this section be deleted. Whether or not Nicky has an article only because of her sister Paris is not relevant because she meets the criteria for notability, even if it is very minimal. The user Wallie's statements, which are very POV, do not suggest any improvements to the article. --70.120.83.126 (talk) 05:59, 18 June 2012 (UTC)
Nicky-H.com
editcould my nicky hilton fansite, the only fansite dedicated to Nicky Hilton be placed @ the external links? I'm sorry if I violated any of the rules
- No, sorry. We don't generally add links like that. See WP:EL. --Yamla 21:28, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
oh alright I did see a lot of other fansites listed on other celeb wikipedia pages....so that's why I thought maybe mine could be added too.

editUm.. Perhaps this page needs to be protected from editing by unregistered users? It is the first page I have ever seen vandalized on wikipedia. Though my activities here run more towards engineering related stuff which is not exactly a prime target.
It is worth noting that by the time I loaded the edit page to remove the vandalism it had been removed by someone else.
Category German-American?
editWhy? Have I overlooked anything, or what exactly makes her a German-American? --Catgut (talk) 16:23, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
Picture
editDo we have a more recent picture to use in the article? The current one is from 2005.. --Willthacheerleader18 (talk) 18:38, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
- Oppose. She meets the very minimal requirements for notability, therefor adding a more recent picture to the infobox is not beneficial to the article. --70.120.83.126 (talk) 05:29, 18 June 2012 (UTC)
Rothschild is her last name.
editNicky Rothschild should be the title of this page.
Nicky Hilton should be a redirect to the Nicky Rothschild wikipedia page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.248.99.93 (talk) 20:39, 17 July 2015 (UTC)

Nicky Rothschild (née Hilton) → Nicky Hilton – Her maiden name is more recognizable, and even if her married name was more recognizable, this format of titling is still against standard convention. – WikiRedactor (talk) 21:23, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
- @WikiRedactor and Clpo13: This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 04:20, 15 May 2016 (UTC)
- Comment It should be moved back to Nicky Hilton Rothschild, where it was prior to Pcomttoo's series of undiscussed moves starting here. Then a proper move discussion should be had regarding the name. clpo13(talk) 21:28, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
- Comment Agree with Clpo13 here. The moves by Pcomttoo were undiscussed. The citation (added here [1]) simply states that she changed her name in Instagram. It doesn't say anything about whether she has legally changed her name. It should be moved back to the statusquo at the moment (Nicky Hilton Rothschild). --Lemongirl942 (talk) 05:06, 15 May 2016 (UTC)

Nicky Hilton Rothschild → Nicky Hilton – Per COMMONNAME. More known as her maiden name DrKilleMoff (talk) 22:23, 22 June 2023 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). DrKilleMoff (talk) 09:35, 23 June 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. Wikiexplorationandhelping (talk) 12:42, 1 July 2023 (UTC)
- Support. Very clear WP:COMMONNAME. Even her own website calls her Nicky Hilton. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:15, 26 June 2023 (UTC)
- Weak oppose: I'm not convinced by WP:COMMONNAME yet. Google Trends favors Nicky Hilton Rothschild over the past year (though it's pretty even between that and Nicky Hilton). Skarmory (talk • contribs) 12:26, 1 July 2023 (UTC)
