editJust a question here - Can somebody explain how Niels Bohr was on the faculty of the institute seven years before it was founded? Just making sure there's not an error here somewhere...
- Because it was the institute that was founded in 1921. The faculty of science was founded in 1850 by Hans Christian Ørsted. This could perhaps be clarified. Zarniwoot 18:06, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
Dr. Ari Brynjolfsson
editA page for Dr. Ari Brynjolfsson has been created. Anyone that could provide more details regarding his period at the Niels Bohr Institute may assist with improving the article. Orrerysky (talk) 18:01, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
Suggestion: A list of visiting and permanent staff with historical importance
editThe Institute obviously was central to many discoveries, and formative for many young visiting post-docs. Finding a consise listing of these people, and the work they did at NBI is difficult. This page could use such an expansion . — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.56.171.237 (talk) 13:28, 6 December 2014 (UTC)
To fulfill this idea I have started a source collection below:

A back-link to List of Nobel laureates associated with the University of Copenhagen would be valuable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.61.130.35 (talk) 09:52, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
Question: Listed Research Centres
editUnder "Research Centres" only the DAWN centre is listed. The research page of the institute however lists many more research centres (see below). Is there a reason why only DAWN is mentioned?
Research Centres at the Niels Bohr Institute (copied from here):
- Centre for ExoLife Sciences (CELS)
- Center for Hybrid Quantum Networks (Hy-Q)
- Center for Quantum Devices (QDev)
- Copenhagen Center for Biomedical Quantum Sensing
- Cosmic Dawn Center (DAWN)
- DARK
- Physics of Ice, Climate and Earth
- Niels Bohr International Academy (NBIA)
- Novo Nordisk Foundation Quantum Computing Programme
- QUANTOP – Center for Macroscopic Quantum Systems
