Ebola virus?
editI realise it's probably not relevant to most sufferers, but it might be worth mentioning that Niemann-Pick type C would seem to offer immunity from Ebola virus infection. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.48.187.233 (talk) 00:05, 27 July 2014 (UTC)
I find this also very interesting. Mutations apparently confer immunity to the Ebola and Marburg virus but do not affect other viral infections.
