This article is all POV and some of the statements are ridiculous ("pleasant personality", "warm, friendly personality".) --Geena Hall 09:07, 26 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I agree. What a monumentally poor piece of work. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 194.201.98.210 (talkcontribs) 14:43, 21 June 2007.

Can someone add something about his involvement with The Lords of the New Church in the early 80s? I mean, we're talking about a band that has members from the Damned, the Dead Boys, Sham 69, and Hawkwind here! 209.248.160.82 20:50, 7 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

That Nick Turner (drummer) is a different Turner from this one (saxophonist), despite this one also having links to The Damned. Drwhawkfan (talk) 01:35, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Expansion

edit

I see that the early contentious stuff has rightly been bombed from this page so I thought I'd re-add the early & HW sections. Some additional stuff for the later years and discog as well. Drwhawkfan (talk) 01:35, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Diversity

edit

As a big Nik Turner fan, something the article doesn't demonstrate is how he successfully compartmentalises his bands. ICU, Hawkwind and the All Stars were all completely different with no overlap.

Shame we can't say 'and Nik is a really nice guy to meet'...

The Yowser (talk) 16:11, 11 November 2008 (UTC) Interesting attitude to other musicians: he always stood aside to allow anyone who leapt up on stage to have their moment. Whilst this often resulted in some crazy festival or gig goer playing badly, every now and then it would be a real talent. A very open minded attitude to otherness, not only in music but in life. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.159.124.13 (talk) 00:23, 18 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
