Some IP vandals are trying to erase any reference about homosexuality of Klyuev. There are numerous sources where many researchers of his biography and works came to the conclusion that Klyuev was indeed homosexual or have such line in his poetry (not only given that fact that he was executed after submitting to the newspaper his work which was expressing love feeling to the male). But there are No any source where his homosexuality is denying. So my message to this IP vandals - please provide the source where is clearly stated that Klyuev wasn't gay and LGBT category will be removed. Westsomething (talk) 04:50, 12 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
The problem is that the source you're adding doesn't seem to be reliable (this Arthur Klesh isn't an expert, his name is completely unknown to any literary or online sources). There's no historical evidence of Klyuev's homosexuality, it's just a hypothesis based on poetry analysis. Besides, accusing your opponents of vandalism is a violation of WP:NPA. --89.31.118.162 (talk) 09:36, 13 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
This is a literature journal and your personal opinion is not the cause to delete information (there must be others users who will agree with you), first. Erasing information without adding anything is indeed - vandalism, the second. Please prove that you even added here anything in whole year. If you repeat your behavior i will escalate this to the resolution comission and you can receive a ban by the IP address based on the history of your edits. Article will get Improve status, so such behavior of preserving it in stub condition is by all means vandalism without questions. End of discussion. It isn't my personal opinion, this is just WP:IRS. "Erasing information without adding anything is vandalism" isn't always right, especially if the "information" mentioned is from a dubious source. I'm not against article improvement (for instance, the Russian wiki has a much more detailed article), it's just strange to me that people focus on LGBT-themed speculations and ignore other, non-dubious, aspects of biography (there's plenty of things that can be added to the article without causing an edit war). And finally, let's not make it personal and discuss article content rather than my edit history. --89.31.118.162 (talk) 06:19, 2 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
I agree with "My very best wishes" on the matter of quotations, but if the gay thing is "easy to check", some better sources should be provided before we can include it in the LGBT project. 89.31.118.162 (talk) 05:14, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
