Correct Name
editIn my opinion the correct name is Николай Владимирович Кулёмин. Even the russian wikipedia (also german, polish, slovenian wiki) write the name this way. So why here Кулeмин? I also recognised the writing on the Magnitogorsk site, but since the usage of ё, instead of e is not obligatory in the russian writing and most russian newspapers, books and webpages don't use the ё, this site alone is no proof. On many other sites you find the name written the other way, for example the site of the russian hockey federation, allhockey.ru, magnitka sport.ru (sport webpage of Magnitogorsk), also here, here, and here. So please post reliable source for the other writing. --Paramecium (talk) 19:58, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- You're right. The only thing is this conflicts with what he told the Toronto media how to pronounce his name (koo-lay-min vs. kool-yo-min). --Lvivske (talk) 22:56, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- So why we don't write it in the article this way?. Writing: Николай Владимирович Кулёмин. And that he wants to pronounce it different. ;-) --Paramecium (talk) 14:31, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
Currently playing?
editI think it is quite a stretch to say that he is "playing" for the Ottawa Senators. He has a Professional Tryout contract. https://www.nhl.com/senators/news/senators-sign-calen-addison-and-nikolay-kulemin-to-ptos — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.53.241.67 (talk) 13:28, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
