– Nikon is changing the official spelling with the Z6III and no longer uses a space in new communication, see https://imaging.nikon.com/imaging/lineup/mirrorless/ (notice lack of space between "Z" and the model number). Also note how all official material about the Z6III does not use a space. A counterpoint to performing this move is that Nikon hasn't updated all materials for the older models. For example, on the linked list page, no spaces are used, while the individual product pages still generally use the space. On the other hand, this change also reflects how these names have been almost universally written/used by independent media since 2018. Phiarc (talk) 11:07, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
- Support It doesn't matter too much what Nikon calls these cameras, as WP:COMMONNAME is supposed to be evaluated with independent, reliable sources. From what I see, reviews of these cameras from such sources usually omit the space (e.g. for the Nikon Z8: [1] [2] [3]). Malerisch (talk) 19:30, 9 July 2024 (UTC)
