Formula

edit

Shouldn't it look like (C20H20N3O)2·SO4 ?

Yes very likely, those ids were confusing sulfate, chloride, ion and a neutral molecule. Based on IUPAC name the real thing should be a sulfate. We would need a new diagram too. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 00:55, 8 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

History

edit

Presumably this was named after the blue colour of either the River Nile, or particularly the Blue Nile. If so, please add this and other historical information (with references) to the article. —DIV (1.129.107.248 (talk) 11:35, 26 October 2019 (UTC))Reply

Table from source 1

edit

The table was correctly copied from the source to the article but according to my chemistry knowledge, the source is wrong.

1N HCl has a pH of 0 (instead of 1 as they wrote) and 0.1 N NaOH has a pH of 13 (not 11).

Or am I wrong? 134.76.3.233 (talk) 17:38, 31 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
