Class of 9s
editWhilst Class of 9s is a well known term in computer science, Nines (engineering) is not. Therefore, one had better merge Nines (engineering) into Class of 9s. In any event, Class of 9s shall remain. VictorVautier (talk) 12:15, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
I perfectly agree with Victor. Akolyth (talk) 09:42, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
After one month of discussion on this page, the result of the suggestion to merge Class of 9s into this article is to leave both articles as they are. I will copy the discussion here to the talk page of Class of 9s Akolyth (talk) 08:56, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
- Wait, what? The consensus above, while small, seemed to be to merge Nines (engineering) into Class of 9s. I'm confused as to why the discussion was closed with no action. —me_and 16:57, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
- It turns out the two accounts in the discussion above were both blocked for being sockpuppets of Gamsbart. Thus the consensus seems decidedly dubious. I'll re-propose the merge. —me_and 19:01, 25 March 2013 (UTC)
- …where by "the merge", I actually mean a merge of both this article and Class of 9s into High availability. Which is what all the relevant articles now state. —me_and 19:10, 25 March 2013 (UTC)
