In suburban Tokyo/Saitama you can walk a couple of meters and be in a different prefecture, cross a major road and find yourself back in Nerima again. I know this area well as I lived both in Nerima and in Katayama for a time. Next time I'm in Japan I will seek out this "exclave" of Tokyo within Saitama. I find it interesting that this enclave/exclave . . . (the article describes it interchangeably) exists. It seems like it would make sense for this tiny parcel of land to be part of Katayama rather than Oizumi. 96.51.152.115 (talk) 04:43, 18 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
